The doctoral students of the Berlin School Mind and Brain are full members of this international graduate school which is based at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. The school’s faculty members, who act as supervisors and lecturers in the doctoral program, are based at Humboldt-Universität and other universities and institutions in and around Berlin. These include Free University Berlin, Charité (the joint medical school and university hospitals of Humboldt University and Free University), Technical University Berlin, University of Magdeburg, University of Potsdam, Max Planck Institutes in Berlin and Leipzig, and others.

Students will usually enroll in the same university and department as one of their supervisors. Enrollment may also depend on the student’s previous degrees.
