My career, reviewed
“My career, reviewed” (series)
In this series we invite individuals from science and science-related fields, often M&B faculty members and alumni, to present their career trajectories to doctoral candidates and postdoctoral researchers in a relaxed setting, to answer and discuss questions about their field of activity. The goal is to gain an insight into different career paths as well as different professional fields. How do you actually become a professor? How do you get into academic management? What were the different stages on this career path? What was helpful in retrospect? What stumbling blocks were there? Was there a plan B? How do you go about reconciling family and career? The relatively small size of the talk makes it possible to ask more personal questions and make contacts.
