Grafman’s research focuses on the functions of the Human Prefrontal Cortex with an emphasis on identifying the long-term representations stored in the prefrontal cortex and how they influence executive functions and social cognition. He is also interested in recovery of function after brain injury and neuroplasticity.  Grafman hopes to network with members of the Berlin School of Mind and Brain interested in these topics and hopefully begin a collaboration.
