Applicants are required to meet the formal prerequisites for appointment of a Junior Professor in accordance with § 102a of the “Berliner Hochschulgesetz”. The appointment will be for three years initially.

Professional requirements:
The successful candidate should hold a doctorate in either psychology, medicine, neuropsychology, cognitive science, or a related field, and have an outstanding scientific track record in research focussing on brain disorders and associated cognitive dysfunction. Ideally, the candidate’s field of expertise is related to one of the three core cognitive research areas of the graduate school (decision-making, language, perception). However, the main recruitment criterion will be scientific excellence. The appointee will be a member of the faculty of the Berlin School of Mind and Brain and of the Charité –Universitätsmedizin Berlin. Courses (in English) will be conducted at the international Mind-Brain Graduate School and at the Charité.
