Information for students

Master’s thesis

If you want to write your master’s thesis with me, please send me an e-mail to mb-phil-mind@hu-berlin.de in which you explain the topic you have in mind. To check whether your topic is in line with my research topics in theoretical philosophy (epistemology, philosophy of mind, philosophy of language), please send me a comprehensive and informative proposal (1–2 pages, not more) in which your topic is presented.

Please refer to the following questions:

(1) What is your philosophical question or problem and what other questions follow on from it?
(2) How do you plan to address this question or problem?
(3) Which primary literature and which secondary literature should be discussed in your work?

Students who are supervised by me have to present their work in my research colloquium (oral presentation with feedback).
