M&B Transcript - Supplement - Confirmation

Completing your thesis / doctoral project

The Transcript, Supplement and Confirmation of Membership provided by the Berlin School of Mind and Brain (M&B) are not part of the official university doctoral paperwork and do not substitute the official university doctoral certificate (Urkunde). 

(1) The Transcript documents the courses/classes you attended and passed as part of the education and training program.
To receive a Transcript, please write to Dr. Mende, coordinator of the doctoral teaching program: mb-education@hu-berlin.de

(2) The Supplement can be downloaded here: download supplement (0.5 MB)

(3) The Confirmation of Membership confirms the time you spent as a member of the Berlin School of Mind and Brain and lists the start and the end of your doctoral membership. It will be provided in digital form only.

To receive the Confirmation of Membership, please provide the following to mb-manager@hu-berlin.de:
(a) Your name as you would like it to appear on the document;
(b) Your date of birth;
(c) The final title of your doctoral thesis;
(d) The dates when you handed in your thesis and when you defended your thesis;
(e) A document confirming your thesis completion.

Please note that we are unable to provide specially certified copies for future employers. If in doubt, employers should contact the M&B management directly.
